Sauna & Hot Tub at Kleven Harbour
800m from Atma Yoga House you find Kleven Harbour where you can enjoy a day of wellness in the sauna and the hot wilderness bath with its breathtaking view over the Baltic Sea, especially at sunset. We can assist you with bookings.
Strandbyen (the beach town)
600m in the other direction you find “strandbyen” - the other harbour in Ommel with a small, relaxed & family friendly sandy beach with public toilet, benches and a playground a little further up the street. The perfect spot for some relaxing hours at the beach.
Ommelshoved
Take a bike or walk the 3.5Km out to Ommelshoved with views over the fields and the Sea to both sides. Take some food and enjoy a picnic, a swim and the beautiful surroundings. A public toilet is available.
Marstal
Only 3Km from Atma Yoga House, you find the islands biggest city and the center for shippig and sailing. Here you find restaurants, museums and the famous beach huts at Eriks Hale.

Bike from Ommel to Ærøskøbing, 9Km
The most beautiful bike trail on the island leads you from Ommel to Ærøskøbing along via Kragnæs and Nevrestien. You can stop at the Kragnæs passage grave, a burial chamber from the Neolithic Age, and continue your route along the water all the way to the charming town of Ærøskøbing. In Ærøskøbing you find a variety of cafés, restaurants, small shops, etc.
